Today we’re going to suggest a route which, in addition to getting to know the best places in Canillo, will also let you enjoy loads of activities. So pay attention and prepare for a late-summer getaway that you’re sure to want to repeat.
You can only access this adventure park via the cable car that goes from the city centre of Canillo. So leave your car in the cable car building’s car park, and in no time you’ll be enjoying the stunning views on the way up to the Adventure Park. When you get there, fun for the whole family is guaranteed with all the activities you’ll find. And we feel that these two deserve a special mention:
– Gliding down the Màgic Gliss: a toboggan run surrounded by nature that can reach speeds of up to 40 km/h
– Flying above Lake Forn on the zip line
And there are loads more… discover them all with our package that includes admission to Thermoludic and the Family Park.
Carry on the fun with some ice skating. Don’t miss the chance to do it on Andorra’s only ice rink which also happens to be in Canillo. Don’t forget that children get in free with Thermoludic admission!
When you start getting hungry… we’ve got the perfect place: the Racó de Montaup, which can be found on the road of the same name on the way to Coll d’Ordino. A place with a magical atmosphere where, in addition to enjoying a good meal, you’ll be blown away by the stunning views and scenery. In this mountain bar, you can sample typical Andorran food and enjoy traditional dishes such as trinxat or sausages, locally produced cheeses, and much more.
And to finish, we’d like to suggest one more place that you can’t afford to miss during your trip: The Borda del Pi. Round off the afternoon by enjoying the sunset with an alcoholic or soft drink while you listen to some live music in the open air.
This route will show you the best Andorra has to offer: natural surroundings, leisure activities and the flavours of the local cuisine. What’s more, we suggest doing it during the summer, but it’s also great at any time of the year and in each season you’ll have a different experience.
