You deserve to enjoy the best plans with your family this August long weekend. That’s why we’re giving you some suggestions for enjoying the newest and most spectacular attractions in Andorra, combining outdoor fun in nature with the bubbles of Caldea’s thermal waters.
Check out the August schedule here!
Tibetan bridge and the Roc del Quer with admission to Caldea
Have you heard about the Tibetan Bridge, Andorra’s latest attraction? It’s a hanging footbridge located in Canillo, in the unrivalled natural landscape of Vall del Riu at an altitude of 1,800 metres above sea level. With a length of 603 metres, it’s the second longest bridge of its kind in the world and it hangs at a height of 158 metres above the ground (not suitable for those with vertigo 😉).
It’s perfect for a visit with the whole family to enjoy the stunning scenery. And the package also includes a visit to the Roc del Quer, the amazing panoramic viewpoint with a glass floor that lets you feel like you’re flying over the valley of Canillo with its breathtaking views. Both activities, which are in close proximity to one another, can be enjoyed between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. (bus transport from Canillo or the Roc del Quer car park is free of charge).
Book the package that includes admission to Thermoludic for 3 hours throughout August (offer also valid during the long weekend).

Tristaina Solar Viewpoint and admission to Thermoludic
Let’s continue with a package where nature takes centre stage. Get a bird’s eye view of the whole valley and the peaks that make up the Tristaina Cirque, as well as the French mountains that border Andorra.
The Tristaina Solar Viewpoint is located on the peak of Peyreguils, at an altitude of 2,702 metres, and was officially opened last year. Besides being an impressive viewpoint, it has the unique distinction of also being a circular sundial, with a large 27-metre pole in the centre that marks the time.
You can arrive in comfort by taking the Tristaina cable car (a treat in itself) and the Creussans chairlift, which run from the Ordino-Arcalís ski resort between 8.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. The last part of the route to the viewpoint must be done on foot and takes about 20 minutes, the slope is very gentle and it is also accessible to children. After your visit or the following day, you can come to Thermoludic with children aged 5 and over.

Naturland, Tobotronc and the thermal waters of Thermoludic
In summer, outdoor activities in the heart of nature are the order of the day. Enjoy the Tobotronc and other cool activities such as airtrekk with a zip line, archery, a circuit with an extreme vehicle, the xtrem jump, an adventure trail through nature and a guided route included in the adventure pass. You will have a great time with the whole family. The adventure at Naturland is also suitable for 5 and 6 year olds, with activities such as Airtrekkids, the mini zip line, trampolines, ponies, children’s workshops and a guided route.
In summer, Naturland is open from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., and then you can head to Caldea to enjoy 3 hours in Thermoludic’s thermal waters to finish off a day of fun and excitement.
Mon(t) Magic, Magic Gliss and admission to the thermal spa
Fun is also guaranteed all day long at Grandvalira’s adventure park. We have an offer that includes access to Mon(t) Magic, with a ride up on the Canillo cable car, and a whole host of activities for all ages. The pass includes the Magic Gliss, nature trails, water activities in El Forn’s lake, as well as mini golf, tubing and much more. In the afternoon, you can finish off among the bubbles while watching the sun set from Thermoludic’s panoramic lagoon.
Storm: the new show at Caldea
The August long weekend is a great time to come and see Storm, the new show at Caldea, which will run until 27 August. There are two performances, one at 11.40 a.m. and another at 9.40 p.m. It’s an aerial silks show featuring a duo of acrobats that takes place over Thermoludic’s main lagoon, accompanied by live music from saxophonist Big Dani Pérez, as well as water and strobe light effects.
This year, don’t settle for hearing about it from your friends. Come to Caldea and enjoy the ultimate August long weekend with the best activities!
