This summer is the perfect time for your children to discover the Caldea children’s spa and have a blast with all the activities that our supervisors have prepared for them. And while they’re occupied, you can enjoy a little time in our thermal waters.
Likids: exclusively for children aged 3 to 8:
At Caldea, the youngest members of the family also have their own children’s spa. It features specially adapted areas that will let them discover thermoludism through fun games while always being accompanied by our supervisors.
Plus, this summer Likids has a new decoration inspired by a coral-covered seabed and colourful fish, which they’re sure to love.
Discover the spaces in the children’s spa
Just like Caldea’s other spas, Likids is unconventional. The little ones will have fun playing with the water in children’s spaces that you won’t find in any other spa.
• Thermal lagoon:
75 m2 of thermal water with a maximum depth of 40 cm. It features water beds, an area for games, currents and moderate-intensity water cannons.
• Soft beach:
With dunes created with soft materials that simulate bubbles, this is a space for guided games with the supervisor.
• Jacuzzi:
The children’s spa also boasts a Jacuzzi measuring 6 m2 that’s ideal for toning muscles after activities.
• Sauna:
This children’s sauna has wooden benches and a maximum temperature of 24º (warm but very moderate). It is the area where more relaxed activities related to learning or relaxation take place.
• Beauty space:
It’s essential to have an area where the little ones can discover massages and beauty treatments adapted to their age group. Manicures, foot massages and facial masks are always popular!
• Fitness:
In a 30 m2 space, children will have a great time with the games and exercises suggested by the supervisors. It is designed for guided psychomotricity and yoga activities.
How does admission to Likids work?
Our children’s spa is designed and intended exclusively for children aged 3 to 8 years old, so adults can only accompany their little ones as far as the door to Likids. Once inside, the supervisors will look after them.
If your child is aged 3 or 4, they will only be able to access Likids. Treat it the same way as when you leave them at school for a few hours and go to work. Except that here they will have a blast with the water games and activities we’ve prepared, and you, instead of going to work, will be able to bathe in our thermal waters and enjoy a bit of peace and quiet.
With children aged 5 to 8, you can choose to leave them in Likids for the whole stay, or leave them for a little while and then bring them with you to Thermoludic. Children in this age group are the real “lucky ones” as they can enjoy Likids and Thermoludic in the same visit.
Whatever you choose and regardless of the age of your children, the whole family will access Caldea through the Thermoludic changing rooms.
Admission to the children’s spa lasts 3 hours, the same as for parents, and it includes a bathrobe to be used exclusively in Likids. Bear in mind that the opening hours are different from the rest of Caldea. In summer, Likids is open every day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.; the rest of the year it is only open on weekends and holidays (also from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.). We recommend checking the opening times before booking.
Last but not least, when purchasing admission make sure you choose the right type for your child:
• Baby admission, for 3 and 4 year olds, only includes Likids.
• Children’s admission, for 5 to 8 year olds, includes Likids and Thermoludic.
Meanwhile… the adults are enjoying Thermoludic
Once you’ve taken the kids to the children’s spa and left them in the capable hands of our supervisors, you have 3 hours ahead of you to enjoy Thermoludic however you want. Outdoor lagoons, hydro-massage tubs, saunas, hammams… or perhaps a relaxing massage to disconnect from everything.
If you prefer, you can finish before the 3 hours are up, or if your child is over 5 years old, you can collect them from Likids and share a little quality time with them in Thermoludic.
A visit to Caldea is so much more than just going to a traditional spa with the family.
Here children have their own exclusive spa for those aged 3 and over, and from the age of 5 they can enjoy the experience of bathing and having fun in a spa that they will remember forever.
